Waving not drowning!

Forgetting which seed is in which tray is a hazard at this time of year. Even turning your back for a moment can lead to confusion, so it’s important to have those labels at the ready. This year my usual lolly-stick labels are slightly delayed in the post due to the situation so I must make do until they arrive. As necessity is the mother of invention, I’ve been making little homemade flags from bbq skewers and address labels.

These are now proudly in situation, marking my optimism for the seeds over the coming months. We all need something to look forward to whilst in lockdown and sowing seed is a great way to ‘stay in’ and look ahead to happier times in the summer to come.

Wishing you all a safe Easter weekend in the garden!

Juliet.

I did turn my back and completely forgot which row of seeds is Morning Glory, Borage or Sweet William. Should be fun finding out! All sown in Dalefoot compost. It's the first time I've used Dalefoot and so far the results are amazing!
